Description
This numeracy resource is aimed at pupils in middle/senior classes or SEN pupils. It is based on the pupil’s knowledge of units of time – minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, seasons etc. The pack contains 24 individual cards, four per A4 page. The pupil has to use a clothes peg to identify the shortest unit of time from the three suggestions on the right hand side of each card.
Cut the sheets up into 24 separate cards and laminate them individually. If they are able to read, the pupil should read the words on the right side of each card and select the shortest time by using a clothes peg. Alternatively, the teacher/SNA/supporting adult could read the words to the pupil and ask them which is the shortest time on the card. The pupil should then place a clothes peg on the correct answer on the right side of the card.
This activity is especially suitable for pupils who may not be able to write answers but who understand units of time in Maths, therefore it is a way for them to demonstrate this understanding. It is also good for fine motor skills in the manipulation of the pegs onto the cards.
This pack could be an ideal activity for a numeracy station. A pack of 6 sets could be put together, one for each pupil in the group, to be completed at a numeracy station.
We frequently gave activities such as this for homework to our SEN pupils. It gave them the sense that they had homework like everyone else and it also allowed the parents to see what Maths topic we were currently working on.
When the pupil was comfortable completing this task, it was often used as an Independent task completed by SEN pupils in their work station.

Given that this spatially and functionally restricted PKA can only phosphorylate proximal downstream targets in cardiomyocytes, it stands to reason that the plasma membrane localized receptors are unlikely to be the sole source of cAMP mediated PKA activation buy priligy generic
