Description

This resource is aimed at junior/middle pupils or SEN pupils. It is based on the learning of the names of colours as Gaeilge. It features images of a 24 point star.

Cut up the sheets into twelve separate cards and laminate each of the cards individually. Pupils should look at the star on the left of each card. The pupil should then attach a peg to the matching name of the colour as Gaeilge on the right side of each card.

This activity is especially suitable for pupils who may not be able to write answers but know and can match their colours as Gaeilge. It is also good for fine motor skills in the manipulation of the pegs onto the cards.
